After bidding good bye to international cricket, Dada is on his way to swipe the glamour world in a big way and the small screen has been chosen to facilitate this grand entry. The heats and dusts of IPL will be hardly over when Dada will take every Bengali’s drawing room by storm. Reported to be the biggest ever television show of any regional channels, there could be no better launch pad for Dada into the world of glamour.
 
As Cricket360 scoops out; Zee has signed this star of international cricket for an enormous amount. Just when the entire nation was glued to the cricket news regarding IPL auctions, another fierce tug of war was going on between two Bengali channels and luck finally seemed to smile at Zee Bangla’s side who ultimately signed Sourav Ganguly for their reality show.

Sourav was reported to confirm the news and said that he is going to be a quiz master in the reality show. No film songs or no pelvic jigs - the show is going to be themed on upholding the pride of Bengal and Sourav is going to take the driver’s seat in hunting for new talents of Bengal. The show which is named as “Dadagiri” (being like dada) is set to hunt out new talents, who are both physically and mentally strong just like a true sportsman – “Sourav Ganguly”.

So how does the architect of team India fits in the role of a television anchor? Well, the formally dressed Sourav on the television screen will look totally different from what he used to look like on field with bat and helmet! But the spirit will be there all right and that is what the television producers bank on and it is this trait of his personality that is believed to soar up the TRP of the program. The show will require him interact closely with the title aspirants. Some of the episodes will present celebrity guests from the world of international cricket and if budget permits, the Zee officials hope to import Imran Khan from Lahore to grace one of the episodes.
