Australia had come back strong in the series from 2 matches down and showed a lot of positive attitude in the fourth match comments Cricket360. The fourth one day international match between New Zealand and Australia was played at Adelaide oval. New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first and their opening batsmen were in terrific form with McCullum leading the way. Taylor played aggressively but in the other end, New Zealand was losing wickets regularly. New Zealand managed during the last 10 overs and scored 70 runs in the last 10 overs and managed to post a cricket score of 244 runs at the end of their innings. Mitchell Johnson was the pick of bowlers for Australia claiming three wickets giving 51 runs in his spell of 10 overs. Australia had a shaky start and Australia have not found the right opening pair still. Clarke was dismissed earlier for 14 runs when the cricket score was 29 runs in the 6th over. The presence of Ricky Ponting gives a boost to the Australia team but his batting is coming under serious radar. Ponting was also dismissed earlier for 15 runs. Australia was 101 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the 24th over maintaining a good run rate. The 115 run Partnership of Hussey brothers took Australia to a safe place. This Hussey brother’s partnership was the feature of the Australian innings. David Hussey was dismissed for 79 runs from 96 balls including 6 boundaries. It was a patient knock. Michael Hussey remained unbeaten on 75 runs from 71 balls including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes and took Australia to victory with 10 balls to spare. David Hussey was declared man of the match and the Hussey brothers levelled the series. The final match will be interesting and will be the decider of the series. Cricket360.com comments that it is a great comeback for Australia who were 2 matches down in the 5 match series and the series is now levelled at 2-2 with the final match deciding the winner.
