Bhajji is all geared up for a stint in the upcoming cricket series in New Zealand, reports Cricket360.com .
India finished the series against Sri Lanka on a high but without Harbhajan Singh . But Bhajji is in no mood to give it a miss against the Kiwis in the upcoming cricket series starting this month. His hamstring injury stopped him boarding the plain for Colombo. Instead he was packed off by the Indian Cricket Board to South Africa to receive a treatment for his injuries. Post treatment, a beaming Harbhajan told the reporter that he is completely recovered from his injury and looks forward to catching up with the team for New Zealand tour . The hot headed spinner seemed to be tormented by a nagging bone and groin pain over the past two years. This treatment break at Johannesburg and a quite a long absence from international cricket commitments has apparently did the magic and everybody is expecting to see an even fitter Harbhajan Singh to take charge of the Indian bowling squad. The injury showed the signs of inflammation and the spinner was advised to carry on with his play but receiving the treatment at the first chance when he gets a long break from international commitments. And the cancellation of Pakistan tour brought him this much awaited break. Fortunately, the player could escape the surgeon’s knife, which would have kept him outside the pitch for longer. Now that, Bhajji have taken the last injection, he was taking the flight to be in the country tomorrow. “I was fit enough to play without break in any form of the game in the last two years and don't see any reasons why it would be any different for New Zealand. More so when I have taken the required medical help in South Africa," he said. And this seems to ends all speculation of Bhajji’s selection in the team India for New Zealand tour. In addition to the Zaheer Khan in his best form, the contribution of a spinner as experienced as Harbhajan Singh will no doubt add value to the team’s cricket score against NZ team. It was a world class treatment with the most cutting edge method; and it was a good investment on the part of Indian Cricket Board for a player who earned for the country 314 test wickets and 202 one day wickets. In the past, the international cricket stars such as Graeme Smith received the similar treatment and is doing well. The Cricket360 team wishes that it works great also for our Bhajji and he comes up with a blast of bowling in New Zealand .
