The keen sense of business is defined by the ability to pick up the leads in the business before anybody senses about it, and use it as the USP to turn over the fortunes of the team. Indian Premium League (IPL), is no exception, this kind of phenomenon was experienced in IPL’s bidding for the second season as well.

It is the element of surprise that dominated IPL as was illustrative from the last year’s opening chapter of Indian Premium League, more so with the fabulous debut of Shaun Marsh and the late introduction of Shoaib Akhtar. The element of surprise and novelty is what has been the guiding factor, and the same streak seems to be the guiding spirit in the second season of the IPL as well.

Three players are going to define the IPL’s second season as well, as they were picked up by the teams even before the auctions were opened up. The first player in this category is again an Aussie, George Bailey, who is the great grandson of George Herbert Bailey, who has been picked up by the Chennai Super Kings. He is a right handed batsman who is a big hitter, hailing from Tasmania, and having an average of 34.09 in the T20 and a strike rate of over 150 could turn out to be the dark horse of the tournament or one can say he may be another Shaun Marsh in the making in Indian Premium League Season 2 .  This would be his biggest platform to announce to the world the talent that he has, and no platform is bigger than the Indian Premium League to do so.

Delhi Dare Devils, inspite of having explosive batsmen in the form of Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have found that their middle order does not have that solidity, and a batsman was required this season. They also have got it, without the auction, the name of the batsman is David Warner, again an Australian. He has already established his credentials against South Africa in the T20 match in 2008 when he hit a superlative 89 runs from only 43 balls. So, he is there for the next two seasons with the Delhi Dare Devils, and it would be an excitement to watch this player. He was bought by Delhi Dare Devils even before the auctions were opened up.

These players would realize that India loves performers, and if they are able to live up to their reputation hen the world would be their oyster.
