Proteas coach, Micky Arthur is desperate to win a test series in England. Sixteen years since Proteas return to test cricket they won test series all around the world, even in challenging condition likes India and Sri Lanka.

But the frontiers they have never win a test series are England and Australia. And at this time, Micky Arthur boys are more experienced, quicker, sharper and more talented (in the field, with ball in hand and at the crease) than the English, and chokers(South Africa) want to change this equation.Proteas on Gentleman Tour

As a preparation for a series against South Africa, England looks confident; they did not lose last six test matches, they have played. In these test matches England showed fighting spirit in getting out of poor position. Lately, England won the test series against Kiwis, but they know as compare to South Africa, Kiwis is a week cricket team their batting line up lack of experience, confidence and deficient in technique.

England has good lefties opening combination (Cook & Strauss), there middle order is packed with players like, Michael Vaughan, Ian Bell, Kevin Peterson and Paul Collingwood all this men single handedly changes the match result. In bowling department they have some young and nasty pace bowlers like Stuart board, James Anderson, Chris Tremlet and Monty Panesar is a solitary spinner.

Proteas has orthodox left-right opening combination. In middle order they have players like, Jacques Kallis (best all-rounder & exceptional batsman), Ashwill Prince, Hashim Amla and AB de Villars all of them are utility players. Proteas has best wicket keeper and reliable batsman, who (Mark Boucher) score vital runs when his team are in trouble. In fast bowling department Proteas has aggressive and excellent fast bowler likes, Makhaya Ntini, Dale Steyn, Andrew Nel and Paul Harris condition is same as turban spinner.

If England has a home advantage, than Proteas has better side. Now it’s interesting to see that, who will win the bottles of champagnes and npower test series trophy.
