Courts are, without there tacit agreement or consent, being brought on to unravel the imbroglios that are happening in the world of cricket, and more so in the sub-continent, i.e. India and Pakistan. It happened in the Pakistan that courts came to the rescue of the players from Pakistan who were playing in the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) in India, and now the Supreme Court in India is interfering to set the house of Rajasthan Cricket Association which is in shambles, mired as it is by multitude of controversies, in order.

There is an ongoing Battle Royal between Pak cricketer Mohammed Yousuf and the Pakistan Cricket Board, with the former leveling accusations at the PCB, and the PCB saying that Yousuf is not in possession of the correct facts and that he is trying to malign the PCB.

Lalit Modi seems to be on one discovery trip. The discoveries are coming in the form of his repeated misdemeanors while being at the helm of affairs of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA). It seems to be happening on account of the fact that he has fallen out of the favor of present political dynamics. However, the present crisis involves financial fraud, and if it is proved, it may have a serious effect on his association with Indian Premier league as well, and the future of IPL may also be affected by this scandal.

The frustration of not being able to play international cricket is getting manifested in issuing as ridiculous statements as can be possible. It needs to be put into perspective when the players from Pakistan are not getting an opportunity to lay international cricket, they would indeed look out for scapegoats. The scapegoat has been found, and it is in the form of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
