Coach Intikhab Alam and manager Yawar Saeed prepared and submitted a confidential report on the Pak Sri Lanka series which Pak was defeated in, which was recently made public. The report has described the sacked captain Shoaib Malik as having no leadership qualities, and as ‘aloof’ and a ‘loner’. Kamran Akmal’s wicket keeping was also seen as not up to the mark.

Modi has been charged with misappropriating Rs. 22 lacs from the RCA, of forgery in a matter of purchase of immovable property at Nagaur, and is also accused to having used his connections with former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje to forcibly acquire havelis near the historic Amber Fort in Jaipur. In an interview, Modi has dismissed these charges saying “I’m not worried at all as I haven’t done any wrong. My IPL and BCCI positions are not dependent on me being in the RCA.”

Politics seem to be entering into the affairs of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The Pakistani Senate has passed a stricture about the manner in which the PCB is functioning and running the state of affairs of the Pakistan Cricket. A sub-committee constituted by the Senate uttered the vituperations, and it was mainly directed about the manner in which the PCB handled the affairs related to Javed Miandad.
