With the tournament only three weeks ago, the official schedule of the IPL season 2 has been revealed. The tournament final will be held in Johannesburg on 24th of May, 2009. The season opener is scheduled to be held in Cape Town on April 18. The opening day will host two games: first one - Mumbai Indians vs. Chennai Super Kings and the second one between Rajasthan Royals and Bangalore Royal Challengers.
Capetown will host majority of the matches in the initial week and then the focus shifts to the SuperSport Park. Durabn which has significant Indian population will host 16 matches, the most matches amongst the 8 allocated venues. The matches will be held at 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM local time to time in with 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM IST. Full Schedule: All time Indian Standard Time
