Tendulkar also spoke about the great atmosphere in the Indian dressing room and about his high regard for his skipper M S Dhoni whom he had suggested to the BCCI as captain when Rahul Dravid stepped down. According to him he has picked up a lot from Dhoni interacting with the wicket keeper while fielding in the slips. He thinks Dhoni has a ‘sharp mind’ and that he is doing a fantastic job. As the most experienced player in the team, youngsters automatically look to Tendulkar as a mentor which is a role he enjoys he was reported in the cricket news as having said.
