The second double header games between Kings XI and Delhi Daredevils and the second one between the Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers. About 2 hours before the game when I got into the stadium it seemed like it would not clear up for the first game. Although we will have a delayed start but the match should begin here pretty soon.
The Delhi and the Punjab team are currently practising on the fields and you can see Daniel Vettori doing some bowling practice. You can also see Gautam Gambhir and Sehwag doing catch practice. Apparently if Ashish Nehra passes the fitness test this morning he would part of the playing XI as per Delhi Daredevils sources. Punjab team is practicing on the other hand of the ground with Bratt Lee engaging in some serious bowling practice. Kings XI should open the bowling attack with Yusuf Adbullah, the two would form a great opening attack bowlers for any team in the world. Ravi Shastri is down on the field as part of the commentary crew and he is probably waiting for the toss just like everyone else. But the lights at the stadium are still poor and thus the flood lights have come on.I must applaud the ground crew doing an amazing job with ensuring that the ground stays dry with the covers and then draining the outfield prety quick. Yuvraj Singh who came on to the field for a brief moment to inspect the ground conditions and went back to perhaps restrategize. The cheerleadrs are on the field for the two teams. David Warner just came in and gave couple of autographs. It seems that it is time for the toss as the last set of covers are being taken off. All of you have fun enjoying the match and I will report to you the post match events.
