There are more in IPL than your eyes can trace it out through the television screen - a few heartbreaks, a drop of tears or two and lots of fun, and sometime the teardrops getting lost in the hilarious instances. And that is what exactly happened with international cricket’s lazy boy Jacques Kallis. The incident that could break into the worst saga of sibling jealousy instead took a hilarious turn, after the brother took it in good stead.
The brother plays for Royal Challengers and the sister dances for Chennai Super Kings. What happens when these two IPL teams come face to face? Easy - sister cheers up the enemy of his brother. And this was exactly what happened with poor Jacques Kallis. As he was taking up an unhappy journey back RCB dressing room, a sudden glance at the score board gave him the shock of a lifetime - his own sister dancing it out to her heart’s content to celebrate her brother’s wicket! So here is the story of Janine Kallis, one of the beautiful cheerleaders hired by CSK to cheer up the Dhoni’s boys through the good times and bad times of the team, who chose to cheer not for his brother, but his opponents! A psychotherapist practicing in East London, and good at modern dance, Janine was being plain professional when his brother was caught straight in the cover even after executing the cover drive to near perfection. “I hit one beautifully but it went straight to cover. Although it was taken in good spirit by the elder brother, somewhere deep down his heart Kallis still felt his own sister could treat it as exception and chose not to dance for once! But she was doing just her job. “I don't mind really...except she really did seem to be doing her job very well when I was out. She didn't have to look so pleased..., told an understanding elder brother” It is sad that the pretty sister of Kallis, who is five years younger than him, was to cheer for the Chennai team, and not for his brother’s. “The Bangalore girls actually come from America so there was no chance of Janine being with us. the big brother offers an explanation. However, in Cricket360’s opinion, the big brother might be hiding some parts of the truth. Was it the team’s preference with American girls, or was it the liquor baron’s reputed penchant for the pretty young things that made the big brother Kallis stop his little sister from joining RCB? Well, we can very well leave it to your imaginations; what is important the brother sister beautifully patched up immediately after the incident.
