India who play their first game with Bangladesh on Saturday wanted to go into the game confidently settling any media apprehension about the unity of the team.  When the Indian team got together, the Indian captain, Dhoni read out a note to the Indian and International fans.

Dhoni said that the team was very much unified, "as good as it has ever been with each individual supporting each other on and off the field".  He further went on to add that the Indian media acted in a “false and irresponsible behavior” where stories about him having personal issues with Sehwag were circulated.
 
The brouhaha originated when people started suspecting why Sehwag had not played a single match in the warm up games to the world cup. Sehwag who sat out for most of IPL is suffering from a injury in his right shoulder.  When Dhoni was asked about Sehwags inclusion to the playing XI, he replied that he was not sure when Sehwag would be fit enough to play.
