The Sultan of swing is scheduled to meet Shahrukh khan very shortly to coach the Kolkatta Knight Riders team for the 3rd season of the India Premier League. KKR which ended at the bottom of the league table is determined to change its fate for the third season as the tournament returns back to India in 2010. Shah Rukh it seems approached the former Pakistan captain to come and help out as the bowling coach. Sourav Ganguly who has been tipped as the captain for the third season has been working closely with both Shah Rukh Khan an d Jay Mehta to restructure and refocus the team efforts to make a strong comeback into the forthcoming season.KKR gets full credit for being proactive in determining their strengths and weakness and working to fix them. Ganguly further said “Obviously I know the names of the coaches in contention but I don't have the authority to reveal them. It's Shah Rukh Khan and Jay Mehta who will take the decision but I have a say in that,” Former Kiwi captain, John Wright is also scheduled to meet Shah Rukh khan on the same day and for the same job of coaching assignment of knight riders team. However foreign coach, former captaincy and high profile career is not a guarantee for the success of the team as already proved from the hiring of John Buchannan as the coach of the KKR for IPL season 2 in South Africa. Buchannan’s theory of multiple captains had become a cause of controversy last season.
