21 October 2009: Former Australian and NSW captain Steve Waugh has thrown his support behind the NSW team that will take on Victoria tonight (8pm local time) in the semi-final of the Airtel Champions League.

Waugh, who was in India recently promoting his charities, is as passionate about his home State as ever: ‘I only ever wore one Green Baggy Cap during my Australian career and I only ever wore one Baggy Blue Cap for NSW, that’s how much they both meant to me’ Waugh said when asked about his feelings about tonight’s match.

The winner of tonight’s game will take on either Trinidad and Tobago or the Cape Cobras in Friday night’s Final in Hyderabad.
