21 October 2009: New Australian Twenty20 captain Michael Clarke has offered his support to the NSW team that takes on Victoria tonight in the semi-final of the Airtel Champions League. Clarke, who is currently recovering from injury and is hopeful of joining the Australian One-Day squad for some part of their upcoming series against India, wished the NSW team the best of luck for their match against old rivals Victoria later today:
“I wish NSW all the best in their semi-final against Victoria. I have been watching the Airtel Champions League with great interest and have been proud of the way that the NSW side have gone about their cricket. I look forward to today’s match and hope that the boys can continue their form and reach the final”. NSW play Victoria in Delhi tonight at 8 pm local time (1-30 am time on Thursday morning in Sydney). The match will be broadcast live on ONE HD.
