Captaincy has adversely affected the cricket scores and performances of many cricketers. A special report on Cricket360 says that Michael Vaughan and Collingwood have quit from captaincy of test and one day England cricket team. So problems creep up for England as they soon have to look for competent leaders for their upcoming cricket matches.
 The latest cricket news reads that Durham all rounder Collingwood announced that the pressure of captaincy had affected his live cricket scores. In the interest of the national cricket team, he decided to step down. On the other hand after a five-wicket defeat against South Africa in the third test at Edgartown, the South Africans had their first series win in England since 1965. This prompted the captain Vaughan to leave captaincy and to concentrate only on ticking the live scoreboard.According to the latest cricket updates, Michael Vaughan in a press conference stated that it had been a hard decision for him to give away the job he had been enjoying for five years. Now he only wanted to accumulate runs in the upcoming matches as he had much live cricket within him. Sachin Tendulkar too failed to please the cricket scorecard when he was appointed the captain of the Indian Cricket team. The pressure of captaincy does mar a player’s performance. In case of Allan border who took over as the captain when the Aussie side was fearful, lead the England Cricket team to the top. Captaincy did no justice to his own performance but he excelled as a leader.  Many experts at Cricket360 opine that the problem with English cricket team is not the captaincy but the team itself. The domestic cricket team is not able to prepare good players for the international cricket matches.For the upcoming matches, Kevin Petersen is likely to be appointed as the Test and one-day cricket captain and other options include Andrew Strauss, Alastair Cook and Robert key. Cricket360 shall update its fans regarding all cricket news about the England cricket team and the decision regarding captaincy. But one thing is sure that finding a captain for the England cricket team to the likes of Collingwood and Vaughan is not going to be as easy.
