The topic describes the future situation of Pakistan cricket with inference of political instability, incompetent board and financial crisis hovering over PCB.

Pakistan cricket team had lost two main cricket series in this year till now, In March- April Australian Cricket team refused a tour to Pakistan and now the Champion Trophy is being postponed till next year, decided at the International Cricket Council ICC meeting. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was to host the Champion Trophy from 12th September to 28th September, but the participating teams have refused to tour Pakistan sensing the volatile security situation in the country. ICC had formed a 8 man committee to check the security situation in Pakistan and present the feasibility report at the Dubai meeting.

The committee report stated that the security arrangements are better compared to earlier arrangements, but looking at the political instability and suicide bomb attacks the Cricket council had taken the decision to postpone the Champion cricket series till next year. The move was supported with the reactions received from South Africa Cricket Board and Australian Cricket Board, following the reaction New Zealand and England cricket team officials urged their players not to travel Pakistan concerning security reasons.

Pakistan Cricket Board, COO, Shafqat Naghmi remarked, it is disappointing decision to postpone but in a way it is victory for Pakistan that the Champions Trophy cricket series not relocated to Sri Lanka, if this would have been done, we would have been deprived from hosting rights. ICC had been in favour of playing cricket in Pakistan, but the current instable situation prevented it to happen. But we are sure to make the Champions Trophy a success next year added the COO.

Cricket Legend, Imran Khan, commented on the decision, ICC had taken a right decision considering the security reason and political instability in the country. He also added that Pakistan cricket team is losing on cricket series which will create financial crisis for the board and players will be losing their form and fitness as well. He blamed the ruling political party is moving the country in wrong way and casualties have happened to the economy and cricket.

South Africa cricket board had invited Pakistan team for a cricket series, players are ready, but the board is looking for sponsors and broadcasters for the series. The board has started facing crisis and this raises a question on what will be the Pakistan cricket team's future in an extreme instability scenario.
