Greg Chappell has been chosen as the new chief coach of the Australian cricket's Centre of Excellence. His responsibility as a head coach is to supervise the growth of young Australian players. He will take over Tim Nielsen, now the former coach of the Australian national team. The former Australian captain signed a three-year deal to serve as the coach of Cricket Australia Centre of Excellence (COE). In the recent cricket controversies, some believe that Greg Chappell might ruin the Australian Cricket too after what he did to Indian Cricket. It is believed that he could have had handled the Indian media as well as the Indian players better. Chappell was one of the most successful cricket players that Australia produced. He scored 7,110 runs with an average of 53.86 in 87 tests. Not just that, he captained the national team 48 times. He also performed well in domestic cricket. He has been a top class player, not to mention a high quality coach.
