ICL Season 2 were determined to make a mark and start off their points tally. Dhaka Warriors failure was mainly because of the poor performance of the top and middle order batsmen.

Dhaka Warriors started their innings on a positive note with the opening partnership of 91 runs between Nafees and Nazimuddin reports Cricket 360. This was the foundation for Dhaka Warriors decent batting performance. It was raining boundaries and sixes in this opening partnership as only 10 singles were taken in the 91 run partnership in 9 overs. Nazimuddin slammed 5 boundaries and 5 sixes in his 54 runs off 29 balls. Dhaka Warriors opened their innings in a defensive note and eventually started playing the big shots as the overs progressed.
The openers were dismissed in the 10th over and the middle order of Alok Kapali and Habibul Bashar steadied the Dhaka Warriors innings. Alok Kapali scored 34 runs and Habibul Bashar played good shots at the end of the innings and posted a cricket score of 174 runs at the end of 20 overs. Habibul Bashar remained unbeaten on 28 runs with 2 boundaries and a maiden six. Delhi Giants bowling was ordinary and they failed to take wickets at the right moment and let the Dhaka Warriors to post a big score.

Delhi Giants also were facing consecutive defeats and started their innings slowly. Gunawardene was looking positive and was playing good shots before he was unfortunately run out for 22 runs off 19 balls including 4 boundaries. The middle order batsmen of Delhi Giants completely failed and collapsed like a pack of cards. This is the major reason for the losing streak of Delhi Giants.
Bali and Yadav showed some resistance but it was also broken fast and Delhi Giants were totally dismissed for a cricket score of 112 runs in the 18th over itself. The batting of Delhi Giants was poor and did not even play the entire quota of 20 overs. Serious problems are in the batting line up of Delhi Giants states Cricket 360 .
Finally, Dhaka Warriors won the match comprehensively by 62 runs. This is the first victory of Dhaka Warriors and they were in bad need of this victory to boost their confidence. Dhaka Warriors put up a good show in all departments. The batting fired and the bowling was impressive not allowing the batsmen of Delhi Giants to settle.
