Cricket360 reported the 15th ICL T-20 Match between Ahmedabad Rockets and Royal Bengal Tigers played at Sardar Vallabhai Patel stadium in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Rockets won the toss and chose to field first with the confidence from the previous match they won chasing. Royal Bengal Tigers opened their innings positively and the openers scored 31 runs in just 3 overs.
Gillespie of Ahmedabad Rockets proved to be expensive and gave away 21 runs in just 2 overs. Patel on the other hand was economical and took the 1st wicket of Dasgupta. This slowed the run rate. Patel bowled an excellent spell giving away just 12 runs from 4 overs and taking a wicket. From here on, wickets regularly fell for Royal Bengal Tigers and the captain McMillan who played a match winning knock in the previous match steadied the Royal Bengal Tigers innings. The real shocker for Royal Bengal Tigers came in the 14th over when Sriram bowled McMillan for 21 runs off 25 balls with 2 boundaries and a maiden six.
