Cricket360 covered the 30th ICL T-20 Match between Royal Bengal Tigers and Chennai Super Stars. Both the teams are known for their aggressive batting and the match turned out to be batsmen dominated game comments Cricket360.

ICL's Chennai Super StarsChennai Super Stars won the toss and chose to bat first as they have been posting huge scores and perplexing the opposition. Chennai Super Stars crossed the 200 run mark in their earlier match.

Chennai Super Stars had a very slow start and scored 60 runs in 10 overs for the loss of 4 top order batsmen.  The first 10 overs was a disaster for Chennai Super Stars and wickets were falling regularly and the run rate was coming down slowly. Then the real aggressive innings for Chennai Super Stars was the partnership between Badani and Satish.

The partnership of Badani and Satish added 90 runs in 47 balls to the cricket score of Chennai Super Stars. Badani played a sensible and patient knock and scored 55 runs off 43 balls featuring 6 boundaries and a maiden six. Satish was the real aggressor for Chennai Super Stars and scored 50 runs off 26 balls featuring 5 boundaries and 3 massive sixes. This partnership between Badani and Satish was the only positive point in the Chennai superstar’s innings.

Badani and Satish, the middle order batsmen of Chennai Super Stars took the cricket score to a decent 159 runs in the 17th over. Then again Chennai superstar’s innings collapsed after the consecutive dismissal of Badani and Satish. Chennai Super Stars scored only 11 runs in the last 3 overs and were all out for a cricket score of 161 runs at the end of their innings with one ball to spare.

ICL's Royal Bengal TigersAdams and Eklak Ahmid were the pick of bowlers for Royal Bengal Tigers. Both the bowlers were economical. Adams took 2 early wickets and gave away 21 runs in his spell of 4 overs. Eklak Ahmid took 3 wickets giving away 21 runs in 3.5 overs. Eklak Ahmid wrapped the Chennai superstar’s innings.

Royal Bengal Tigers needed a good opening and this was provided by Dasgupta and Marshall. The opening partnership of Royal Bengal Tigers took the cricket score to 132 runs in the 14th over. Dasgupta was dismissed for 54 runs off 46 balls including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. This partnership took Royal Bengal Tigers to a safe position. Marshall continued to demolish the bowlers and Royal Bengal Tigers reached the target of 162 runs with 5 balls to spare.

Marshall remained unbeaten on 80 runs off 54 balls featuring 8 boundaries and 3 sixes. Marshall was aggressive from the start of his innings. Marshall was in full form and no bowler of Chennai Super Stars could stop him. Marshall batted well and took Royal Bengal Tigers to a comprehensive win over the stronger Chennai Super Stars.
