The highest scoring match so far of ICL Season 2 led to a bowl out for the first time to decide the winners as the scores of both Delhi Giants and Chandigarh Lions leveled at 200 runs in the 31st match of ICL T-20 Challenge.

ICL's Delhi GiantsAndrew Hall decided to bat first after winning the toss and his openers TP Singh and Sarabjeet supported their skippers’ decision by wrapping up 55 runs in the first 5 overs. TP Singh was merciless and even Shane Bond had to face his onslaught. Benkestein broke the opening partnership in the 11th over, but by the time they had already added 100 runs to the total score. Mishra took an admirable catch to get rid off TP Singh, who scored an amazing 65 runs from 31 balls.

Cricket360 noticed then, Sarabjeet taking over the burden and was well assisted by G Hick with 36 runs from 18 balls. G Hick in between got past Nixon’s record of longest six in ICL Season 2 by hitting a huge one of 109 meters. Bond but spread some discomfort as he took wickets of Hick and Vincent on back to back deliveries in the 17th over. Sarabjeet made sure that his team reaches the 200 mark in 20 overs with a contribution of 60 runs. The total score of Chandigarh Lions was 200 for 7 wickets.

M Mishra was Giants’ answer to Lions’ maestro TP Singh as per Cricket360, during their chase of 200 runs in the 2nd part of the match. It was a dream start for the Giants as they scored 68 runs off first 5 overs. Mishra got his 2nd ICL fifty in 24 balls and the duo snatched 100 runs from just 54 balls.

ICL's Chandigarh LionsCricket360 found one more record breaking six in the match from Mishra when he hit the ball 112 meters away before he was stumped by Sarabjeet in the 12th over for 81 runs. The spectacular performance earned him the throne of man of the match of 31st ICL T-20 Match. Further Gunawardhane played well and in the last over Giants needed 9 runs to win the game. But they got only 4 runs from the first 5 balls of Hall losing one wicket. An inside edge from Nixon found the last ball surging past the third man boundary to tie the match at 200 runs for 4 wickets.

First time in ICL Season 2 , Cricket360 found bowl out, round the corner to decide the winner. In the bowl out, Giants’ Benkestein and Abbas Ali failed but Murtaza and Mahajan succeed to hit the stumps. On the other side all the 4 bowlers of Lions, Bipul, Chetan, Tuffey and Hall failed miserably to find the stumps. At the end Delhi Giants nabbed the match from Chandigarh Lions by a margin of 2-0 in bowl out.
