The 33rd ICL T-20 match between Dhaka Warriors and Lahore Badshahs was exclusively covered by Cricket360. Dhaka Warriors were the favourites of this match as they have been winning continuously and having a great inaugural ICL season so far. ICL's Lahore BadshahsLahore Badshahs greatest strength was their bowling, which was very ordinary in this ICL Season 2. Lahore Badshahs won the toss and chose to field first. Inzamam still vested his faith in the Pakistani bowlers. Dhaka Warriors put on a solid 50 run partnership in the 7th over. Pakistani bowlers did not have any impact till the 50 run mark. Then Saqlain Mushtaq claimed the first wicket for 51 runs. This wicket however doesn’t slow down the run rate of Dhaka Warriors.

Dhaka Warriors innings got a shake in the 11th over, when the cricket score was 91 runs. At this time, Dhaka Warriors were cruising to a large cricket score. The bowling partnership of Saqlain and Naved-ul-Hasan proved deadly for Dhaka Warriors. Naved-ul-Hasan, the wizard of using the old ball bowled exceptionally well and took wickets. Saqlain provided good support to Naved-ul-Hasan and also managed to take wickets, although he was plundered for runs in his initial spell.

This was good bowling change by Inzamam. Dhaka Warriors lost all their top and middle order batsmen in just 4 overs for a mere 20 runs. The cricket score was 114 runs for the loss of 5 wickets and from here on Dhaka Warriors innings collapsed. Dhaka Warriors were restricted to 145 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of their innings. Badshahs gave away 24 runs as extras, which formed the second highest score for Dhaka Warriors.

ICL's Dhaka WarriorsNaved-ul-Hasan was highly economical and gave away 18 runs in his spell of 4 overs. Naved-ul-Hasan claimed 3 wickets. It was the spell of Naved-ul-Hasan that twisted the game entirely in favour of Badshahs. Saqlain also claimed 3 wickets but gave away 35 runs at the end of his spell.

Lahore Badshahs lost the 1st wicket in the 3rd ball itself. Inzamam made a good decision promoting Naved-ul-Hasan in the batting line up. Naved-ul-Hasan was aggressive right from the start of his innings. Naved-ul-Hasan took Lahore Badshahs to a safe position with his batting. Naved-ul-Hasan scored 64 runs from 32 balls featuring 4 boundaries and 6 massive sixes. He was dealing in sixes despite wickets were falling at the other end. Inzamam came and finished up the innings and took Lahore Badshahs to a comfortable victory in the 16th over itself.

Lahore Badshahs scored 14 runs and won the match with 23 balls to spare. Finally Dhaka Warriors winning streak came to an end. Lahore Badshahs needed this win desperately as they were losing their fans and status in this ICL Season 2 reports Cricket360. Naved-ul-Hasan was declared the man of the match for his excellent batting and bowling performances.
