The England squad will fly home from India following the postponement of the remaining two One day Internationals in the wake of terrorist attacks in Mumbai. The squad will fly from Bangalore on Saturday (November 29th) although the Indian board (BCCI) maintains that the two-match Test series scheduled to begin on December 11th will take place. BCCI chairman Lalit Modi confirmed that he had been informed that England would leave the country and he told Sky Sports News that he had been in conversation with Giles Clarke and he remained confident that the Test series will still go ahead as planned although the second Test will not take place in Mumbai as planned. "We have no issues with that at all," Modi said in reference to England leaving the country. He went on to confirm that the remaining two One Day Internationals have been postponed, and not cancelled, however. England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Managing director Hugh Morris conceded that it would be possible to rescheduled the matches although refused to be drawn any further. "Clearly, that is going to be a discussion for another day," he commented. The ECB have also confirmed that the Performance Programme Squad, which is based in Bangalore, is to return home immediately. Over 100 people were killed in a number of simultaneous attacks in Mumbai overnight.
