Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey played sensibly and put on a decent partnership taking the cricket live score to 90 runs in 13th over and recovered Australia from the early onslaught by South Africa. From here on Hussey and White put on a partnership to take Australia to victory comfortably with 7 balls to spare.
