The fourth one day international match between South Africa and Australia had a lot of expectations and Australia were in a must win situation to stay alive in the series. South Africa had the upper hand in this match. Australia managed to win the all important toss and elected to bat first. Amla played slowly and gave a solid start to South Africa and remained unbeaten on 80 runs from 103 balls featuring 7 boundaries. AB De Villiers played aggressively and took South Africa to an easy victory. AB De Villiers remained unbeaten on 82 runs from 85 balls featuring 6 boundaries and a six. AB De Villiers was declared man of the match for his aggressive knock. South Africa now leads the series 3 – 1 and has captured the one day series comfortably.
