Former opening batsman for Sri Lanka, Sidath Wettimuny has said that the present Indian side is the best Indian one day side ever, having a powerful batting line-up and a very useful attack. He also praised the Indian fielding which according to him was an area India lagged behind in, in the past. he also said that there is something special about Dhoni; that he is strong and positive and has instilled a lot of zest in this tea.

The BCCI clarifies that there are no fitness or other issues behind Tendulkar’s departure ahead of the one off T20 match between India and Sri Lanka. According to Ratnakar Shetty, Chief Administrative officer to the BCCI, “He was not going to play the Twenty20 International. I was in Sri Lanka for the third and fourth ODIs and everyone in the team knew that he would head for home after the fifth one-dayer.”

It would indeed be a tour, which would be one of the best that the Indian team ever made overseas. The group photograph of the team with the trophy said it all, and it was for the first time in the recent memory that the winning captain was seen standing in the second row, instead of sitting in the front row, as is the convention. But this is what makes Dhoni different feels Cricket360 .
