The Nawabi class of VVS Laxman and bunch T20 specialists couldn’t do wonders in the IPL Season 1 for Deccan’s. And the end result was same as it was in case of RCB, it was all due to a classy but incompetent T20 Captain and now the Captaincy charge has been passed on to Gilchrist.
With likes of Afridi, Symonds, Gibbs, Gilchrist, Rohit Sharma and many more Deccan Chargers just fell like a house of cards falls even if a whistle is blown near by. It was not the captaincy but the team bonding and the zeal which lacked completely, leading the team towards the bottom of the leaderboard. Will the Gilly magic work, will the bombastic lads of the team blast away the opposition – We will get to know it soon! |
