The shockers are still on for Team India, especially Team India for T20 World Cup 2009 as none of the players of the previous T20 Champs was named in the ICC’s Team of the Tournament released yesterday. On the other 4 out of the 11 member Pakistan Team which defeated Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup Final were named in the Team.

"I'm the second Khan winning a World Cup for Pakistan, so I'm very proud of my Khans," said Younis. "This is my dream. I dreamed all the time of lifting the World Cup. My thinking in all my career is that I will be remembered for a team like 1992. I was not in the Imran Khan team, and this is a dream come true. I'm really happy. Though this World Cup is Twenty20, at least we won our second World Cup. This is a gift to our whole nation", Younis Khan the proud Pakistan Captain wasn’t able to control his emotions on the ICC T20 World Cup 2009 Victory.

Team India’s star batsman Virender Sehwag could not made it for even a single match in ICC T20 World Cup 2009 due to an injury which happened in IPL Season 2 in South Africa but aggravated in extreme climatic conditions (heavy rain and low temperature) in England.
