Australia vs. West Indies, Second test at the WACA in 1988/89. After losing the first test in Brisbane, Allan Border won the toss and sent the West Indies in to bat. You have to feel for him against such a dominant team, I'm sure he'd have preferred to lose the toss! The West Indies proceeded to pummel Australia into submission yet again and were led by the cavalier batting performance of their captain Viv Richards. This video shows a couple of shots from his innings of 146. I don't know what highlights his dominance better; Tim May ducking for cover; the almighty spank of the ball hitting the boundary; or the most savage yet effortless six I've ever seen in Test cricket.
